Cannot recommend this place enough. Stayed here during our tour of the WA coast and wish we could’ve stayed longer! Check in was easy, sites were generous in size with the pick of whichever suited you best and have obviously been lovingly tended. Wonderful live music provided in the comfort of cool fans near the pools, sung by a bloke with a golden personality. The historic and quirky decorations were wonderful and the whole experience was great. We will definitely be back and will recommend this place to family and friends for their travels.
Beautiful place. Friendly staff. Hot tubs were amazing. Dinner was pricey, but delicious. Loved the home made damper. Shaded camp area. Old vehicles for kids to play on. Fire wood reasonably priced.
Wooramel River Retreat was a delightful surprise – absolutely loved it. The complimentary hot baths were a highlight, providing a relaxing experience. The uncertainty upon arrival faded quickly, especially with the unexpected treat of live music. Opting for the group meal, a smoked beef wrap dinner with sides, was well worth it. The spacious site was a plus, although the presence of ants proved a minor annoyance. Fortunately, convenient access to toilets and bathrooms just a short walk from the tent site balanced the experience.
Certainly a must stop for a couple of nights or more when passing.
This is an amazing Station Stay, extremely well run, thanks to Faith and John.
Fresh cooked breakfast and dinner menus are available every day and live music each night under the stars. Wonderful!
The artesian baths were amazing and are available 24/7.
We had our van under the large river gums. Beautiful spot with lots of birds, morning and evening. Facilities were rustic and clean, which added to the experience.
Love the fact that it is close to Carnarvon for day trips with all the fresh tropical fruits, vegetables, and seafood there.
There is a rubbish tip museum and Station drives that are worth checking out too.
A great spot to break the journey heading up/down the west coast. The spring baths are just what you need and there is a restaurant that serves a decent meal each night. An authentic "station style" campground with rooms and ready made tents if required.
Stayed for one night to break the trip up. We camped beside the river bed. Dinner was amazing, it was BBQ night. Bought some incredible steak and salads from the Cafe. Jannes was singing live which created an awesome atmosphere. Would definitely recommend
Definitely worth a stop over. Stayed here for 2 nights in our caravan. Family friendly atmosphere, was great fun! Such a relaxed and laid back environment. I really enjoyed our stay here.
Great place to stay! We managed to have time to do the 4WD self tour which the kids loved. Cafe is great. Try the savoury damper for breakfast… amazing! No water or power for camping sites but the showers are hot and toilets clean.
